Uganda, often referred to as the Pearl of Africa, is landlocked and bordered by Kenya, the Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and with Tanzania to the south. Uganda is a small country of eye-catching beauty with landscapes varying from fertile green areas around the northern shores of Lake Victoria to the snow capped Ruwenzori Mountains in the west and the semi-desert region in the north.
The deepest crater lake in Africa, Lake Bunyoni can be found in Uganda. Its National Parks and Wildlife Reserves lay claim to over 300 species of mammal and more than 1000 species of birds, the major attraction however, is the estimated 600 remaining mountain gorilla. Trekking safaris are a magnificent experience, allowing you the opportunity to have a close encounter with these gentle giants of the jungle in their natural habitat. From a base at Lake Bunyoni the trekking takes place in Uganda, Rwanda or Democratic Republic of Congo, dependent on local conditions and the availability of the gorilla permits. Uganda presents a unique experience for overland camping safaris and gorilla trekking safaris to get up close and personal with our closest living relative.

Founded in 1972, Africam Safari in Puebla Mexico has around 3000 animals of 250 species. These animals live in complete freedom in a habitat that encourages development and reproduction. The park is divided into four sections: African, American International, a tiger heaven and a children's zoo. And it has a picnic section and a marina with rental of boats to enjoy Valsequillo Lake where you can enjoy taking pictures and a camel ride. In the children's zoo there are pony rides.
The African section is the largest one; it is divided into 3 areas known as Botswana, Uganda and Kenya. It is difficult to describe in a few words all you can see and enjoy in this zoo, it has giraffes, gazelles, zebras, ostriches, a huge variety of felines, bears, elephants as well as beautiful exotic birds.
Most of the tour is done inside vehicles; in certain areas you must roll up your windows to prevent animal attacks. If you do not have an automobile, an Africam bus leaves the Puebla bus station regularly; you will recognize it for its zebra look.
